‘The Ancient Civilization’ presented in London

The London screening of the film ‘Masters of the Horses’ from the ‘Ancient Civilization’ series, held to mark the graduation of Bulgarian pupils and students in England affiliated with the University of Cambridge, was an outstanding success.

The Bulgarian Embassy welcomed us with open doors and with warm, attentive staff. The Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria attended in person, along with other official guests.

The hall was packed, and the pupils, students, their parents, teachers and lecturers watched the film with great interest and a thirst for knowledge, taking an active part in the discussion that followed.

The school's headmistress personally presented the diplomas and congratulated each Bulgarian child setting out on the path to fulfilment in their chosen profession.

It was an honour for us to see that Bulgarians and Bulgarian children in England do not forget their Bulgarian roots, achieve success in their studies on the path of knowledge, and remain just as bright, eager to learn, and hopeful of achieving much for Bulgaria.
