Trakia University welcomes ‘The Ancient Civilization’
A full hall and an enthusiastic audience greeted the screening of ‘Masters of the Horses’ from ‘The Ancient Civilization’ series at the prestigious Trakia University, at the invitation of the Student Ecology Club.
The whole team of organisers and lecturers at the university were excellent hosts, with superb organisation and a warm welcome. The cinema hall of the Academic Centre was spacious and modern, with wonderful acoustics, large enough to fit everyone who wanted to come, and the technical side was first-rate.
The audience included not only students of the university but also lecturers, academics, museum directors and other senior figures, and we spoke with them afterwards.
We saw the sparkle in the eyes of many of the students, their interest and their thirst for knowledge. Young people are very bright and curious, and they need to be told and shown, so that the spark of history is lit and grows into a flame, because they are our future.
Thank you for the organisation and the hospitality, for people’s thirst for knowledge, and to everyone who honoured the screening and watched the film.
